Based on the poem “Crude Conversations with Boys Who Fake Laughter Often” by Warsan Shire, Crude is a twenty-page screenplay adaptation that by trailing and paralleling the lives of its male and female leads, attempts to explore the complexities of the many types of relationships shared between women and men.
